    AHX06207B Boris Overlander XU3

    This guy came in and got some stuff off me, very nice van

    That'd be good in water crossing with that shaker fitted! Nothing like a big gulp of water down the carbie to stuff your engine!

    What's a Molecraft Overlander? Must be a WA thing... Overlander copy?.. The only real Overlanders are the Haywood built ones. Looks good though, better than some I've seen.

    Molecraft was a W.A. company that did some conversion over here some say they were better than haywoods conversion some say they wernt
    i have seen some way better than the haywoods conversion and they wernt molecraft
    each to there own

    True, proper Overlanders were Tas built by Haywood and were original L31 M41 vehicles. But he did convert secondhand vehicles that weren't M41 that were still an Overlander of sorts, plus sold conversion kits for people to do their own.

    The Molecraft company are still in existence in Kenwick..

    They were the same copy of the Heywood ones, Dana Running gear.. The DPI over here recognises the Molecraft ones as being fully engineered, and have the list of HQ - WB that were converted.. Including a WB statesman!
    I heard a number of 60 or so were built...

    Apparently holden honoured the warrantee on these too..

    this one was T400.. I have seen another Molecraft conversion with a 253, it was redrilled to run a T350

    they closed up many years back i still see the main man and only only ever owner hes moved on to monster trucks and has one in the next mad max movie which by the way was made in Africa because of price and drier locations?
