Hi guys i have a HJ xx7 sandman just wondering how to tell what factory options the car may of had eg air con and mine had twin headlight front and arm rests but im told it may not be standard. any help would be helpful thanks

No way of telling what options were on a Holden from factory unless you are lucky enough to have original paperwork or the production broadcast sheet which is sometimes found under the carpet.
twin headlight is not factory on a HJ sandman or optional.

Not at all, especially if you use all factory aircond bits. My HJ Sandman has factory air in it.

Silly question...Isn't there a different hole sequence for AIR/Non AIR on the firewall where the heater core cover sits ? or is that just what some 'expert' told me years ago and it's sat in the useless info part of the brain
Send me the car's details and i'll see what I can find. For HJ it is normally easy to find out what mechanical options were fitted.
Factory integrated air would have been very rare in the 70's in any commercial vehicle. Lots probably had after market air installed later on through the 80's. an AM radio was a big option!
Just option it how you want it now. No one can ever tell if you do it properly.
