    Torana I know but at $4000 and 2 days to go that is a fair bit of coin for a set of plates and a piece of metal plate with a number stamped in it!!!!!

    Why not, they were worth nothing in the 80's, just like we use VN-VS SS's today for donor running gear. Even worse 350 powered HT-HQ's were gutted in the 80's for bits for vans and utes and tonners.

    It's what they did. I know a guy who did it to a 2 door HJ GTS.
