What was the car you learnt to drive in?

Came up with this whilst reading the 70's 'do you remember' thread, thought it might be fun.

So for me it was a Nissan C120 van (an early Vanette) it was kermit green and had an RAAF sticker from Pearce Airbase on it "PEA". Three on the tree, 1.6 litre from memory, it was the mums taxi/second car. Passed my driving test in a Gemini SLX (5 speed dual control) belonging to the driving school - you just got professional lessons in Canberra in 1987, everyone did, I think I had six.

First car I drove: 327 Chev powered Toyota Landcruiser.
I learnt to drive on the streets in my parents ZA Fairlane (289 C4).
I figured out the "three on the tree" in my first car a 1965 HD Holden Special.
Passed my driving test in my Mazda 808 wagon. (Actually I failed in the morning in Wollongong, drove to Taree (in the 808) following a mate and passed that afternoon at Wingham Police Station).
I owned and drove on my "P" Plates in my HQ Ute (6cyl), FJ Holden Sedan (235 Stroker) and HG Holden Panel Van (327 Powerglide).

Drove tractors etc from knee high,

First car I drove was a HK Kingswood 186 3 on tree

License obtained in QLD country town in a 1972 International semi trailer with the local copper telling me it was a waste of time as he had seen me driving around, did a little drive around the block.

My first car was a XA Falcon Hardtop GT.

First car I drove was a HJ 6cyl 3spd tonner on Grandparent's property.

Learnt to drive in a WB 3.3 4spd van and a 1981 Toyota Cressida.

When I got my licence I owned a HQ Statesman Deville and a HQ 202 3spd van. Followed soon after by a HZ 308 4spd Kingswood sedan, and then a 327 powered FJ40 'cruiser and an LX SL Hatchback.

Split between a datto 120y and an old diesel patrol farm hack on a mates property. Had the patrol airborne a few times lol.

Our 77 Hilux one tonner. 4 on the tree. Still have it behind a shed here. I was a farm kid so learnt to drive as soon as I could reach the pedals at 8. My young fella learnt at the same age in my 91 Hilux farm ute. People learn to drive way too old at 16 in my opinion.

As a bush kid I leant at 8 in dads hz ute and Nan's eh wagon plus what ever was about , both my kids started at same age out on the river tracks in my rodeo in low range now they can drive anywhere

Like a lot so far as a kid on the farm,it was a Vauxhall Viva. remember the first 'Torana'
