Tuxedo black

Hi its been a while.
Ive just got the old girl licenced and am looking at the paint. At the moment its in basic black acrylic.
The original colour is tuxedo.
Can anyone tell me if this was a COB or just a base, is it a gloss or a semi gloss etc.
There were no stripes or decals on .Can anyone tell me what they would have been originaly if any.

Tuxedo is just a straight black acrylic. If the dealer fitted the stripes and decals they'd be white. Blackouts on HJ Sandmans was a satin finish, same stuff as used inside on plastics. I haven't seen a totally orignal Tuxedo black HJ in the flesh to know if they bothered or not with the lower body blackouts.

I cant find any evidence of stripes or blackouts. It looked like it had a bit of a custom interior job done way back in the 80s. Lots of black and grey fabric YUCK.
Ive done my own door skins and seats , cause the interior was trashed. Nothing that cant be un dun. Ill post some pics in the right thread.
