"All correspondence must bear these numbers"
One may be the WB one which looks like a ham can and has a larger capacity and metric threads.
One may be the earlier round shaped one.
you got some pics adam???
early type pump starts in ht and runs through to hz...round with neck and non metric thread..pulleys on an ht hg and early hq are different..
wb has the ham tin look which has metric threads..
chev looks similar to hq to wb but is different..
ford  looks like wb but sits at a wierd angle forcing you to have adjustment problems..
In the HQ series there are 3 different pumps 6cyl, V8 and 350, and there are 2 in the HZ series different part numbers but may have been updated. HJ V8 is same as HZ. HJ 6cyl same as HQ. HX uses the HJ V8 for all models
some clarity
HQ, HJ 6cyl
HQ V8
HQ 350
HJ V8, HX all, HZ V8
HZ 6cyl
WB imperial mounting parts
WB metric mounting parts (shaft retained by square section ring)
WB metric Mounting parts (shaft retained by round section ring)

Just to confuse things they used those pumps on heaps of agricultural equipment such as John deere round balers and some ford tractors and no doubt other applications. Must have been a generic style thing that every manufacturer used.
