    What about the old wrapping:

Cherry Ripe wrapped in tin foil with paper wrapper skin.
    Kit Kat were the same.
Turkish Delight had a cardboard slab and wrapped in a thick printed foil.
Waggon Wheels with a paper slip wrapper and the word Wagon had two "G's".

Buying a bottle of Coke and having the get the lid ripped off with the store bottle opener.

Also Orange FRIST in steel cans before ring pulls. You had to puncture the lid with a can opener that left a triangle cut.

This has got to be the best thread ever!

I'm having a meltdown or overload or something remembering all this stuff!

    Hey, what about "mood rings"?

And those lamps that were made of hundreds of flexible glass filaments that changed colour and you could run your hand through them.
I had one in my van and the chicks loved it! (You'd do whatever it took in those days.....)

Also I have a pic of me and my Dad on holidays in about 1965 with a tiger tail on my belt.....

I had a early girlfriend who wore a mood ring. The mood 'bad' came up often! LOL
Fibre Optic lamps were so cool. That tiger tail looks just like the one in my collection Rob.

OK what about only on TV stuff:

    K-Tel Record selector anyone?

The Knock & Kirby TV salesman Joe the gadget man. "Don't forget, bring your money with ya!"

Anyone recall a show called Hardcastle & Mccormick, star of the show was a Manta kit car with Centerline Indys, was able to slot under semi trailers and out the other side- super low. Love that car

I loved playing the petrol game when travelling in our kombi in the 70's. We would choose a petrol company then add up how many stations at the end of the trip. I was always Golden Fleece. Rodney bought this for my birthday as it is a big one shortly. I absolutely love old bowsers and have a tin collection.
