I took my brock to this show last year. Was a hot day that attracted 500 cars, good day out right next to the water
I'm heading down tomorrow with the van - not that i reckon it's 'show' quality but just for a bit of a buzz, my two boys are looking forward to it. As it turns out there is still the surf theme as well as a Bunnings sponsored 'tradies' theme. So ive pulled a vintage board thats around the same era as the HZ. There's an entry form that you hand in on the day. If anybody goes be sure to say g'day!
It was a good (but very windy) day at Torquay. Saw and admired your van Jeza. The only panel van that I could see at the event. Nice.
Love that silver FJ Van on the previous page...it has modern Mini headlights which sounds weird but they suit it very nicely
It was really windy but a great spot with the beach as the backdrop. Yep no other Holden vans which was a bit disappointing, contrast to the last couple of years... To my surprise my two boys (5 & 8) managed not to get bored staying with me from 8 until about 1 - a couple of swims helped that but they also loved showing off the Sandman!
does any body know of a good panel beater in melb not happy jan 9months down the drain how do they sleep at nite
Bit off topic there rocky...
anyways...try HG Autobody in Bayswater
Ask for Heath... 0424 306 460 ... Prefers to work on old school cars
i dont really see how that is off topic,i often walk around car shows and ask who did paint, trim etc
Ahhh fair enough...any progress at all with your ride?
