Stupid question of the day,
Did a non sandman, hj panelvan come out with mounts for a center consul? Where they there for a two seater kingswood?

Not true, you could not get console shift on HJ commercial outside of XX7/XU3.

I think he is saying no console in a hj ute or van unless a sandy ,a floor shift is a shifter boot (4sp) or column shift auto as I've never seen an auto without a console. Is this correct hk.

I think it is pretty clear. For HQ-HJ commercial with bucket seats you got one of the following:

Column 3spd with seat separator.
Column auto with seat separator.
Floor shift 4spd with nothing between the seats.

If XX7 or XU3 optioned you got a 4spd or auto with console shift (stick or T-bar respectively).
