Oddly optioned HJ Kingswood ute on Ebay

Get a load of this one.

    Chamois with brown bench seat.

    202, 3spd, 3.55:1 diff.

But it has air and steer. Very odd, must have been an ordered car or a fleet thing.

Cheap too, currently $300 in Ballarat. Be worth it for the air and steer. Tailgate might be OK too. Some joker would pay you $300 for the original radio on Ebay too!

Nothing odd there, least not to me. Shame it's a
gas buggy though. I had relatives, they have past
on now, that always had the bench seat. They always
had the extra passenger in the Ute.
Given the air con and power steering, makes for a
    comfortable drive out west.
I had an uncle who ordered a HJ kingswood wagon,
Five litre, four speed, LSD, air con, power steer
and a bench seat. He towed a van and wanted the
extra seat. All built for a purpose, they are around.

They are, but 80+% of Holdens were built for stock by marketing direction. This would not be a stock build, it'd be ordered. Very rare to find 3spd's with air and steer, normally people opted for column shift auto especially for towing. By the time HZ came around the most common driveline by far was 202 auto.

She's a factory order for sure. Some of the old cow cocky's liked their comfort however. My father did.
Hope someone is keen enough to resurrect her, and
lose the gas in the process.

She looks too far gone to me, better of spending money on an original V8 with a better body and buy this old girl for its air and steer plus whatever else it can donate. It'd be a beauty to own in totally original condition though.
