    Good value HZ ute

Good parts car for someone, even says it has a good body so might have good doors and tailgate, possibly good genuine GTS guards too. By the yellow needle dash, dashpad and woodgrain dash possibly someone has raided a HZ Premier.

Looks like OK seats, appears to be a 4spd and says it has a 5spd with it, 2 x Salisbury diffs. Although it has a mod plate so might have a 5spd in it now.

    Power steer conversion. Statesman nose.

Even the 6cyl might be a good thing, Holley, extractors, yellow paint!

$3500 in Townsville. No bids at $2800.

It'd probably be $1500 dearer though! Assuming the bits are useable, I reckon if you add up what it'd cost you for the HZ dash, power steering, front clip and a 10-bolt you wouldn't be far off $2500-$3000. The rest is bonus bits. And i'm assuming the body is not that great, might be a good one but I don't think Townsville would be too kind to a HZ.

they don't take long to deteriorate here if left outside the shed, your right if you add up the dash ,power steering, diffs and gearbox it would be worth it.
