Ill defently enjoy the cape trip got 30 other 40s coming as well.
Well a it more progress in stripping the old girl no rust in the floor pan just a bit of surface rust and in the ute part couple bubbles of rust but only two pin holes that has gone all the way through. Might be on a winning streak
Yay it's raining now that will give me a chance to start a bit of work on the ute and at least it will be cool
Haha, Lucky bugger. Rain here means NO work. SHED... come at me!
I got a nice 4 bay shed I even got a aircon in it so on the hot days I lay in front of it using my dog as a pillow
Whats the best way to fix little rust holes like this
Cut it out ,rust would be right around it ,I just use doner parts cars to weld good bits back in ,tried rares floor pans in tonner but not as good as Holden pans from a wreck that I put in a ute earlier , but I got the pans with a purchase so decided to use them in tonner, but not as neat as in the ute when I used patches from the other car.
I had I repaired 8hrs ago the part that was fixed is still good but I'm going to rare spares are they any good
Progress has been slow the rust in the floor fixed interior been cleaned up and the ute is now drivable now for new brakes trying to upload photos but keeps coming up failed
