"1977 Holden HX Sandman 8WM70. This is a completely original and untouched HX Sandman Panel Van. It has all matching numbers and service books and owners manual (and original key). It is a rare example being delivered with L31 308 (5.0 Litre) V8, M41 4 speed automatic transmission, C60 factory air conditioning, N40 power steering, JL2 Front Wheel Disc Brakes and rear tinted window. I have Holden written confirmation of a build date of 11.5.1977. I also have lots of other Sandman information, and some spare parts for a restoration of the vehicle. It is very hard to find a completely untouched Sandman example like this."

Dunno about "completely original and untouched" as the silver dash face is wrong for a start.
Still, good to see a pretty original example even if it is somewhat a optimistic asking price!

Silver dash fascia is correct for HX. Looks to be an honest original well cared for car to me, has 5mm thick steering wheel, ign switch is broken .... and original rego ... Well optioned and probably most the desirable of HX vans.

Pity about the early NSW plates no longer registered to the Van. Last NSW rego expired: 19/05/2007

Yes don't know what Holden was thinking.... Early HJ till around July/Sept 75 silver fascia, late HJ black fascia, HX back to silver fascia, HZ actually had "Black Chrome" fascia on Sandman and GTS.

Rare Spares repro fascias are even wrong for Sandman and GTS as they are painted black .... Not black chrome.
