This site is good to see the colours on the cars.

    I like Blackwatch green.

I agree the Blackwatch Green looks the goods.
I have a photo of a van that we like the colour of so if anyone knows what colour this might be that would be a great help.

Not good lighting to pick colours but looks a bit like "March the 17th" (a dark green from the era).

Blackwatch green is the best! A friend of mine had an HQ premier in that colour back in the day, and it was really nice.

Good luck with it all mate. Some of the best bonding I did with my old man was restoring a panelvan when I was the same age. Enjoy

did you have to weld up under the styly lines down the side there? (below the van/ute line) LOL trying to work out how to do my rust repairs there and not lose the style line. van looks great though :D that colour is really nice choice!

All the panels have gone off to glass blasting but we have not done the shell yet once it comes back we will etch it and begin the repairs. Ours are not to bad there so what we have done is sanded it back to bare metal and applied a rust converter then once it comes back from blasting just run small mig welds along there and then file/grind it back to original.

Purchased a new set of front and rear shocks, sandblasted them and have etched them. Does anyone know if they get that hot that they need to be painted with a heat proof paint or can I just paint them in normal paint?
