A custom red 1978 HZ Sandman panel van with a 308 V8 and Turbo 400 3sp automatic. This panel van has been substantially restored. It is in excellent condition no work required. The back of the van is still a blank canvas, to be done up. This is a chance to own a piece of Australian motoring history and an iconic Australian vehicle. $60,000 ono

Nice money if you get it.

There is a good chance that there would nearly be more Sandmans around now than normal HQ-WB vans. Are they really that rare and unusual now?

Whoa! That's a hefty price tag,but I guess if you had the money and needed to get in and drive with no restoration desires, this would be ok. Not 100% genuine restore, but how many are these days?

$60k for a HZ van? Dreaming. You can buy a HQ GTS350 for that! Anyone see Brad Hanrahan's Tuxedo black LH SLR5000, you'd buy it for $60k.

I am pretty sure this is the one that was won as a prize at Crown Casino Melbourne a couple of years back.
