The dash pad in my van has a huge crack in. Has anyone had any experience with dashes being repaired? Who did they use and where they happy with the work? Ideally would like to use a Sydney based repairer if possible.

hello i had one done in sydney (dept of interior) seem to be ok ,but grain looked slightly different.
can't remember how much i paid .
in my view if you can find a good second hand one and they are hard to get i can vouch for that
then i would go that way.
Is a WB crash pad the same?
Hi Rallyvan I used The Bashboard Doctor he is in coberg Vic great job matched the grain and colour.People may think it's costly but you only get what you pay for and if that's a new covered dash on your own original dash go for it.Transport was easy they do it every day.Easy to talk to and that makes it better.
Still hoping the WB dash pad fits a HZ as I just bought 3 WB utes for $350. One complete and still drives but has got a good dash pad. Does any body need parts before the big crush. (yes HK you can have the tags, PM me a postal adress and I'll send them)
Yep they will fit hope you can save a few bits before the crush I've got some cars I need to strip and clean up in yard but today was 48.2degrees wind burnt you terrible last few days the same hk pm me your adress too if ya want some tags I'll send them
48.2 degrees. Where was that?
Walgett Nth nsw would've topped charts said on radio was hottest town long as ac keeps workin it's ok inside dogs were feelin it had sprinklers goin in dog yard for them
the grain in HJ is different to HX / early HZ and late HZ / WB so be careful if your going for original.
not many good ones left..... I pop on on any good one @ $200
