Did the trickle fill thing today and managed a total of about 65ltrs. All went well until I looked under the car and saw a pool of fuel that was dripping from the tank somewhere. Think it might be the flexi filler hose but will have to wait a few days for me to get it up on some ramps and have a look and see where it was from.

Every chance it is just the overflow. It is normal for the filler neck have an overflow.

yes every chance, just pull the panel off the inside the of tray and have a look, I remeber the overflow is about halfway up the neck, but cant rember where it drained to.
I replaced all the rubber parts of the fuel line from engine to tank when i first got the wb, they where very perished, not leaking but can save a lot of trouble, ie engine fires and fuel leaks.

Will pull the inner panel off and have a look and a clean as the fuel gauge still only ever shows half full so may be a fair bit if grot on the connectors just like the rest if the electrical stuff. All I have been able to smell for the last few days is fuel so I imagine I will have to get in there with some degreaser or similar and give it a clean to. Will change any fuel lines out that are a bit average as well. Thanks for the tip.
