Possible HZ sandman..please confirm

I just went to look at a panelvan and I have a feeling it may be a sandman (fingers crossed) so im hoping you guys in the know can decipher the tags.

model: HZ8WM70
body: 431610B
trim: 1930 18V
paint: 56830521
eng: L32
trans: M20
axle:GV7
Has XX7 on top right side of tag

VIN# 8M7QRHH431610Z ......tag is dirty...Q maybe O?

seating cap: 2

Yes these are Sandman plates.

You should also check that this number 431610B matches the chassis number.

Chassis number can be found on the drivers side front chassis rail next to the steering box. Use a rag and degreaser to remove gunk to find it.

Body and VIN numbers will match... and they do.... Chassis number will be different to these.

haven't had a chance to check chassis number yet but just want to clarify.... When I look at the vin and compare it to the I.D screen that breaksdown all the codes, am I correct that the first 'H' in the vin means 8 as in 1978? But on the tags it says 9/77. Is this normal?

Mine is a 9/ 77 will be interesting to see what build number it is compared to mine

In your case 9/77 = 1978 Model. Stupid yes, but just the way it is.
