HZ Sandman Correct Flamenco Red Paint.

The restoration stage of my HZ Sandman Panelvan is up to, trying to work out the correct colour code/brand of paint, as Dupont seems to be to orange and PPG is to red in comparison to the original Flamenco red that is on the van. If anyone has been through this tedious task before I would be grateful to hear what alternatives I have to get the colour mickey mouse.

Find a Holden dealer that has a paint sales section and order the paint through them. They will have all the correct codes for all the colours. I got some paint mixed by Motorama Holden at Springwood in Brisbane and the colour was spot on.

Reds can be a problem today as well, they cannot use lead anymore. A PPG paint place like a Holden dealer should go very close though as Absinth says.
