Yeah, I've been keeping an eye on those. The prices seem incredibly reasonable too. You see some that have a set of wheels, a blower and badges removed and they want $600. A lot of Custom Wrecks ones are under $400 and have had some pretty major work.
I'm keen to get him to do a Palais White HZ GTS matched to the condition mine is currently in.

When you consider a stock 1:18 is around $200 at best, a one of a kind weathered model is good value. Would definitely be a talking piece in a collection

not that hard to do yourself, I did a XC Cobra a few years ago for a mate that had one in the 80's..... Steel wool, some rust coloured paint and watered down black paint for oil stains.... A bit of imagination and knowing where the real cars rust areas are and they look pretty realistic.

Incredible talent. I admire someone that can replicate something that well. It's easy to make them perfect, but to make one look weathered correctly is impressive.

This guy does amazing work. I couldn't do it and he is making these models look real. My missus is chatting to him currently about my ute and (possibly) my van.
Well done to him I reckon.
