2 1/2 yrs on the Gold Coast while we were in Melbourne killed the body. It's sitting in Rod and Jennie's yard until I can find a replacement shell for it.

Went to Forbes wreckers today and got a few bits for the HJ

My lower tailgate has a big hit in it and is rusted pretty bad along the bottom so I picked up a rust free NRMA van tailgate... Would look great on the shed wall and seems a shame to strip and repaint it. Also picked up a few HJ brake pedal pads, one is in great condition.

The factory window rubbers Rod and Jen gave me from the red van are excellent, nice soft rubber unlike the dried out crispy ones on my van at the moment, thanks guys.

Finally, someone else is restoring a Persian Sand Sandman. Can't wait to see the finished product.
cant believe how well you guys up there do with finding vans and parts! I cant find anything down here!? when I had my 1st car (eh pv) there would have been nearly a dozen vans in town.. now I cant track down a single one!
