Very tidy example of a HJ Kingswood panelvan 308 auto says rust free and body appears to be in excellent shape , looks like a good cruiser!

7/76 HX Monaro 4dr 308 4sp... Absinth Yellow and rusty as hell.. SOLD
3/77 HX Sandman Panelvan ... Absinth Yellow and rusty as hell .. SOLD
Hey guys, Freemason sold the white one as I got sick of the comments I got a shows, Sandmans didnt have wide GTS rims. Sandmans wheren't painted in 2pak and so on, I bought a sad looking absinth yellow van, I took a mate with me, seen it, went to go home, Mate stopped me and said lets look at it anyway, Looked over the van, it looked good. At home we stripped it to its undies. never found any tales of accident or rust repairs. was a country van and the guy had it fish oiled every few years. the 253 was stuffed. i built a VN headed 308, got the trimatic overhauled, its brisbane built. the it has all the right gear for sandman. seen the original pics of the van from new. it had single light front end with GTS guards and no stripes, and even the original tyre placard in the glove box matches sandman.2 seater and a GVM that matched a sandman, but its not. its a 3/75 and missing the XX7 on the body plate
There is no unique GWM for a 3/75 Sandman, they are the same for both as their model base.
Jamie, for it to have had XX7 on the plate it would have had to have been a Brisbane built van.
All Sandman's built at any other plant didn't ever carry the XX7 stamping.
