    Happy Birthday Holden car.

Exactly 65 years to the day since the Holden car was first unveiled on 29th November 1948. So the Holden has officially reached retirement age!

Ben has been working on the ideas of a "present" for the Holden car for many years (since around V2 release actually), and this is it. In a way it is a godsend to those with very original, matching numbers cars as it now gives them a method to prove it beyond doubt - we've all seen the deterioration in the traditional Holden letters - they just don't really care anymore.

Have a read, and for those seeking to prove their car is what it is, especially the VPR report section:

It won't be too long before we mourn the death of the traditional Holden, both the HZ and the WB (the respective ends of the Holden car and the Holden commercial) finished respectively 34 years ago and 29 years ago in a few months time :-(

Read closer. Reports will only be generated for cars where all numbers are original. There are good reasons for it. You may still be able to get some particulars but not in writing as a report.

    Time flies......
I remember hearing about the new fangled "Commodore" and saying that was the end of Holden.
    Man, it seems like yesterday.......
Vans.... This is the 2nd time round the block, 40 years later! talk about turning back the clock!
