HK 327 HQ 350 Coupe Monaro

To the people that have a better understanding of the above Monaro coupes what would I expect to pay for a good turn the key and drive original or previously restored example. Came across a Shannon's auction on TV this week where an original HK V8 Warwick yellow went for $65 not sure of the drive line
compo also there is a very tidy HQ 350 Coupe on car sales two owners for $85 seems a bit expensive but I believe there were not may produced.

The HK was probably a 307 auto for that sort of $. Here are the build numbers:

    HK GTS327 - 1192
    HT GTS350 - 700
    HG GTS350 - 450
    HQ coupe with 350 - 615

The best value example will be HQ LS or HG GTS350. You'll buy a good useable HG GTS350 for $65k.

There was 213 x LS with optional L30 engine, might be what he was talking about. The other 402 are GTS 350.

It'd want to be pretty good to get $85k for a HQ GTS350. It is worth it if it is really good but not if much work is needed. I do know of a GTS350 auto HQ that is very original that may be for sale at some stage soon. It was painted in the 80's and paint is showing its age now, but it is a very good car. It is Blackwatch metallic with green/black houndstooth trim. Factory black vinyl roof, auto, air, steer.
