Your better off ian at least its brand new
Yeah mate, though it means the van and the bike I've been playing with have been put on hold. Plus we get the joy of storing stuff and renting somewhere while it's getting built.
Well worth it in the end though.
If you are worried about security with a lazerlite roof, bolt a sheet of mesh under it secured with a few lengths of metal strap ( I did this on my shed ) if anybody jumps through it they wont get past the mesh and it looks a bit sus to the neighbors if there is someone on your shed roof with an angle grinder or a set of bolt cutters. Put a couple of big padlocks on your door to, it's a bit hard to get your car out through the roof of your shed. PS keep your power tools locked in a metal cupboard or they can just cut their way out using your tools.
That's all good advice.
I've done the roof and left it all colourbond, no lazerlite. It's a bit dark inside, but I just bought a bunch of lights so it will be cool.
All my roller doors have padlocks on the inside to stop (slow down?) anyone that breaks in. I also have a bloody loud alarm with a screamer inside.
Where I live it's a bit of an overkill, but if you get slack with security you often have regrets. I hate regrets!!!
Vans.... This is the 2nd time round the block, 40 years later! talk about turning back the clock!
A bloody big dog in your backyard also helps.
