G'day all.
In the quest to rebuild my HZ ute, i've found that the front disc and rear drum brakes need rebuilding.
I've seen previously that it is possible to use vn-vs commodore brakes front and rear.
before I outlay money to rebuild the exisiting brakes, I would like to know
1) The difficulty and work involved with adapting a commodore diff to fit leaf springs
2) the necessary steps/parts to change the front hubs and brakes. (necessary because it'd be a pain to have kingswood pattern front and commodore pattern rear)
I would also like to know if anyone has had any bad experiences with this conversion, or if they have noticed a substantial benefit.
(obviously, having 4 wheel discs would be an advantage, especially with better commodore calipers and rotors)
Thanks in advance for any advice.
