308 Turbo 350

I have a 253 Aussie 4 speed that needs a rebuild in my HZ Sandman. I may be able to acquire a 308 Turbo 350 running and ready to install. Would this be any easy switch or what problems would I encounter?
Opinions and advice appreciated.

All bolt in but i think you need to change crossmember and maybe tail shaft might need to be modded

Tailshaft and yoke the same.. . Every thing else the same .. Just crossmember mod ..Assuming its a red 308..

I thought the tail shaft length would be different for a turbo 350 to a aussie 4speed adam

Same mate, TH400 is different.

Only mods are get a WB Statesman TH350 crossmember and modify it to suit, and drill a hole in the right place in the firewall plus a small one in the passenger's floor, both for the speedo cable. You'll need a HQ-HZ TH400 shifter too.

308 trimatic is much easier again.
