    Cool L-88 Bonnet scoop.....

I've been going through all my old van magazines and they are stirring up some old desires! I'm thinking about doing a 2nd bonnet with a moulded-in L-88 scoop. Are they still being made by someone locally (Australia)?

If not you'll be able to find one in the USA.

They were available at the Toowoomba Swap in February. A local Brisbane company was making them . . I almost bought one for nostalgic purposes.
They were on the north side of Brisbane - if I can get the name I will post it up.

I'm sure they are, but I really don't care. They are one of the coolest looking scoops ever in my opinion and used to be really common back in the 70's. Now they are rare they should stand out even more.
And they suit the shape of a HJ-WB bonnet like they were made for it.

Every 2nd van had one back in the late 70's. I wish I'd bought a dozen and kept them until now.....

    Good news!

Rusty (on Majestic Vanners) makes them. I've contacted him and awaiting a price.
