I've seen one with them behind the doors and that doesn't look right (to me) either.
Don't you reckon that white one has enough going on to stand proud? The stripe says "Sandman" it doesn't need to say it twice.

True, might just stick them on my tool box, or if I get excited do a standard set of guards so I can swap and change.
Now you're thinking.
Don't waste them on the toolbox, my mate can make you some cheap toolbox ones so you can save the originals. They'll come in handy one day.

I've got a spare one left over from the last van that I did. I'll use that on the tool box, I don't really want to stuff a full set up.
Just remember how much you paid for it........

It was actually a free one just to check the color to the van.
That's cool then.

The color is the same as the one in my avatar, bright yellow, light orange, dark orange.
Do you still have that van? I love silver, I was going to paint my ute like that.

It was antelope, sold it, now i'm kicking myself for getting rid of it. It was a 253 4 speed. It was a little clapped out when I got it but used it for practice when I was doing my panel beating apprenticeship. Replaced the floor pans, straightened the chassis and body, full respray in and out and a new interior. The only thing wrong with it when I got rid of it was the motor was stuffed and the brakes needed doing. Sold it for $4500.
