Wtb- Wollongong nsw- dellow supra gearbox to turbo/chev pattern 308 bellhousing

Wanting to buy a dellow bellhousing for my wb van. Needs to be pull style clutch, to match a w series box to a 308 with a turbo pattern block. I have all other parts needed, also have a trimatic pattern dellow bellhousing stamped 'commodore v8 supra'. If I can't find a turbo pattern what do people think if elongating the holes by 6mm, drilling new top bolt holes and dowel holes? I've read some articles of people doing it but don't imagine it's my best option? Thanks

You can do it, but it has to be perfect or the gearbox won't be in line with the crank and you'll chew out front seals in the box FAST. Not to mention input shaft bearings.

If you are going to do it, you need to make a template of the back of the turbo block, paying particular attention to the dowels, because they are what locate the box. Then transfer the template to the bellhousing and carefully drill the holes.

The dowels align the box, not the bolts. They just hold it all together.

If you do it right, it's as good as anything you buy that is turbo pattern.
