Wow sandman stripes on a sedan. Ive got them on a wagon but only because it has the same lines, on a sedan it looks weird.
Thanks for the pic's HZSM50, I couldn't go to Dimmi this weekend "would have luv ta". I know a bloke who knows a bloke that could put me on to the X-atal if any info is "genuinely" Wanted!!. I know the town that it lives in but not the owner.
Cheers Calbert
Thats not actually a sedan, its an X-atal coupe, built out of a ute.
still looks weird what about the grill is it just the photo. Almost looks like a nova grill?
There was a white one floating around Sunbury at one stage. But I haven't seen it for some time now. The one at Dimboola was I need of a restore. But still looked good in person.
I drove past it about 8 years ago but didn't have time to stop, then was talking to another bloke about it who 'insisted' it was a Sandman ute with a 'fast-back' accessory on it!!. Who can tell us about the 'fast-back' option?
The conversion was designed by a bloke called Jack Cox in the mid-late 80s to convert hq-wb utes into coupes. The grille looks like a Statesman SLE in a standard single headlight front.
