    Your question is a bit vague...

    Are you meaning from the top of the column, the shaft has collapsed? If thats with the steering wheel off? Might be that the top circlip isn't there.

    Yes, that sound like it, how easy / difficult is it to get the shaft back up into its proper position?

    So you've tried pushing back up from the steering box side?

    If it won't push up from the bottom end, the column shaft is collapsed

    Hi Lukeos.
    The steering column is designed to collapse in an accident its a two piece shaft, you should be able to get it back up, just a bit difficult.
