Thanks for feedback, keep it coming.
I'm in two minds, as Shed sounds right but it is also used by a very large and popular Holden site as well.
Time to pull out the thesaurus.
4/75 HJ XX7 Sandman Panelvan ... Persian Sand currently restoring
7/76 HX Monaro 4dr 308 4sp... Absinth Yellow and rusty as hell.. SOLD
3/77 HX Sandman Panelvan ... Absinth Yellow and rusty as hell .. SOLD
Well if Shed is used elsewhere,I guess that's the end of that suggestion. Man cave sound's gay, backyard special's sound's like a re birthing operation in the suburb where I lived in Sydney. There is definitely a far more unique name out there somewhere.
"Proud To Be An Old Fart".
If you are going to store things in the blog it could be call the container
If it is a place for special item then it can only be called the pool room
you could also consider the carport which is a shed without walls
hall is a meeting place but probably doesn't tie to sandman theme
work bench may fit the bill
back of the van is where things happen
through the arch is the way into the back of the van
van room or sandman room would be a shed a shed for vans
to take the above one more step and you's al liked shed what about sandman shed
any way these a couple of suggestions
how about "mate's place" as he always has better things, & more interesting things in his "shed..
HX XX7 windowless Van needing resto
WB ute
thank farkin god some sense prevails.....
How about simply calling it MyShed....?
Would tie in with 'mysandman', be about what 'you' are doing in 'your' shed, and separate it from the oldholden one....
from the suggestions so far i like Workshop, i agree with keeping it away from the 'shed' title as found on a major holden forum.
showroom seems to be a more fitting title for the gallery.
the pool room would be a great place on the forum to discuss collectables (biante models, prints, brochures, van wheels etc etc)
now for my suggestion -
I dont think i need to define what a blog is but if you care here's a link: wiki - Blog
To me a blog seems to be simelar to a diary or in a far fetched sense a story (think about the tv show 'this is your life' basically a collection of events used to recount a persons story).
so i'd like to suggest instead of blog the term myStory (or VanStory) could be used. essentially the blogs have been used to recount the story of each of our vans progression. why not click into myStory to see my latest update.
