looks like a V series van in the background of the first pic
Neat old vehicle same rear seat trim as the old hq sedan I picked up few months back tag story sounds like my supposed sandman ute can't find them but has no console brackets and its a hj body not hx like the chassis . No tag so not worth as much in my eyes
I'd give him $5000 if it was straight and nice inside...
One minute he doesnt want to part it out and the next minute he does
Driveline is worth big money to a Dandenong HQ GTS owner as it is a QU stamp, not 11QU like Statesmans. The engine, box, radiator, A/C, power steering, diff etc would pull well in excess of $5000 if he were to part it out.
VIN tag missing is no drama as it is known whib one of the 4 x cars it is since the other 3 x have been located. Just get another one made for it.
Nope, looks like a Carry Boy clip on canopy. http://www.carryboy.com.au/holden-vu...2001/index.php
Didn't you know that the Chev badges never came out standard on the Holdens!
Some guy named Wayne, Wayne Kerr actually, decided he needed to tell everyone, and started a trend that has lasted till the current times!
No point saving it for the Commonwhore forum they wouldn't get the joke!
That said, if I had the coin at the moment, I'd be after it, that's one tough baby hauler!!!
When you thing about it, that HQ wagon is as collectable as one of the handful of 350 powered HQ utes (including the Ewe't), and probably as collectable as any HQ Sandman given the relative build numbers. Plus it is a special order colour to boot.
I'd snap it up if I had the money. Would be easier to restore than a coupe. No stupid priced stainless trim to buy, not to mention the other coupe specific bits.
