Not a replica Sandman, more like what Holden would have built if they did a WB Sandman. Just a roughy at the moment, but progress should be rapid....

Thanks Alien,
That's an interesting looking van, definitely making a transition to Commodore styling.
My plan is going to take a few steps.
First is the new interior which is currently being put together by my mate the trimmer. I saw the seat covers yesterday and they are absolutely beautiful. He's done them in HJ Sandman style patterns, they are Desert Beige with Lagoon Blue inserts. The Door trims are the same colours in a custom style and the rear inside trim is also custom Desert Beige with a yet to be decided amount of Lagoon Blue accent added.
Headliner will be a full length in a Blue/Grey cloth and both front and rear carpet will be charcoal plush pile cut and lay.
Exterior will be White with the WB front (maybe a custom grille) at first, then later on I have a HZ Statesman front and GTS Guards which will probably find their way aboard. My own design Sandman decals may or may not happen. I like the HX/Z Sandman on the tailgate, but to avoid the obvious "That's not a real one" whinging I may do some side stripes in the HQ/J style but in the same colours as the tailgate lettering.
I have a set of Magnum mags (5-hole kidney style) in 14x7 & 14x8, so I think I'll polish them and stick a set of BFG T/A's on them.
And all for under 10 grand total spent!
Other than that, general tidy and clean up is all it needs. Air-con is fixed and blowing cold, motor runs well, trans shifts well, diff doesn't whine and it really drives like a pretty new van so I want to enjoy driving it to a few events and meeting all the people I talk to on here and MV.
I'll take some progress interior pics tomorrow and post them.

Nice to see a WB getting done. Leave the WB front on it I reckon.
Nice to see no negative comments about a WB.
