    thank god for fathers day

we finally have some decent weather here in SA (every weekend its been 12-15 degrees and pissing down) so i thought i would get some parts painted and back on the monaro, but saturday arrived and the lawns need mowing, the pool needs cleaning, our daily drive commodores are filthy and the mrs wants to start spring cleaning....... but sunday is my day so sleep in till 9.30 bacon and eggs for brekkie and off to the shed, few bits and pieces to do under the bonnet and paint the hinge springs and then we put the bonnet on and then the front bumper. wow finally looks like we are getting somewhere! Stopped work about 3.30 and sat outside admiring our work with a few crownies and then went for a walk, followed by fish and prawns for tea. Hope you all had a great day.

Nope, I am very lucky to be married to an incredible woman who not only shares my sentiments about my (our) ute but actively gets out in the shed with me and rolls her sleeves up when she can. She's also been known to mow the odd lawn etc....

My wife is the same Taily, she is not scared to get involved either. Many years ago she had a mini that was being rebuilt and got in and assisted with the project. No such projects now though.

Seems to be a bit of a trend here. My mrs mows the lawn occasionally, and helps out with car stuff if I'm working alone and need another set of hands for something.

She even brings beers out if I ask nicely lol
