Concept VF Monaro : Does this work as a Monaro, or is it not right?

A few days ago some images of a concept VF Monaro design exercise came out. Apparently it had something to do with a training exercise fo an external design group, with some Holden designers contributing to it out of hours. Holden has said there are no plans at all to consider building this.

So they have drawn a VF coupe, but, does it look like a Monaro, or is it not quite sweet enough?

Which would make it a Monaro. A Monaro was always a 2 door Holden. GMH buggered that for HQ- HX where they stupidly created a Monaro sedan which should have been an SS like the prototype.

It won't get built, HSV are going to sell the Camaro which is essentially a 2 door VE underneath.

If i had the dollars and both options were available, i would pick the VF coupe in a heartbeat. Nice sleek, stylish design.....what a shame

Not a fan of the new Camaro styling. And the newer concept Camaros are looking real ugly

Camaro isn't nice to drive either, my 2002 CV8 is a nicer car to drive and much easier to get in and out of.

Extend that grille in the bumper all the way up to the top of the smaller grille and you've got the next Mazda 6

I think Mazda 6's would sell very nicely if they were a RWD coupe with a 300+kW V8 and 6spd auto!
