If this question's been asked before, sorry for revisiting, but wondering about Kingswood/Belmont front guard badges, were they or weren't they on HQ Sandmans?
I was under the impression they weren't.
Cheers.

As far as i know they dont come with badges on the guards
I am under the impression that they did come out with Belmont badges on the guards, sales and promotion brochures I have seen (google images of HQ sandman) support this.
Steve can you see behind the guard if the holes have been filled?
As far as I know HQ Sandman definitely has Belmont/Kingswood badges at front of guards. Cheers
HQ Belmont Sandmans had Belmont badges, HQ Kingswood Sandmans had Kingswood badges. Same in HJ, Holden Sandmans had HOLDEN badge on the tailgate, Kingswood Sandman had Kingswood badge. HX-HZ were sans badges as they were meant to be seen as a separate model like a HQ GTS sedan (which was a Kingswood but had no Kingswood badges) whereas HQ-HJ Sandman were always intended just to be an upgrade package like a VE Thunder.
That's my next step, just can't lift the bonnet at the moment.
Cheers for the replies people.
Thanks for the clarification. Are you still collecting Sandman ID? I can send you mine if you need it.
Cheers.
