    Automatics sound so gay though. Can never see why anyone would value an auto Sandman higher than a manual.

    You are forgetting one thing. The factory alternative is an absolute piece of cr@p, an aussie 4spd!

    Never had an issue with my 4 speed. Never overloaded my Ute, or flogged it though. Auto's were for grandfathers.

    I was thinking of changing my other HZ sandman 253 to auto. So the wife can drive to swap meets and shows to show both of them off. Not a bad idea easy to do and change back. If it what you want to do then go for it!
