Jade Green with Chamois/Covert trim and a 308/4spd
HQ Glacier White Belmont Ute
Wanted Lanspeed accessories for Holden Grey engines, twin carb manifolds, extractors, rocker cover, 3 speed floor shift.
HJ8WM70 = HJ Panel Van
XX7 = Acadia Ridge Brisbane "Sandman"
1899 60v = Brown Range (Chamois) See: http://www.mysandman.com.au/index.ph...-trim-interior
567 15945 = Jade Green Metallic
L31 = 308 ci
M21 = 4 Speed Gearbox
As per above posts, except:
XX7 in HJ with 1950kg is actually "Sandman with derated load capacity otherwise known as 10cwt Sandman". XU3 at this time is "14.5cwt Sandman".
60V is beige trim in HJ Holden, only Kingswood Sandman got chamois/Covert.
thankyou everyone , that is a great help is 60 v a brown shade or as it looks on the trim index site looks like a grey tone ?
60V is beige in Holden and Chamois in Kingswood, it was the "light" trim. Looks white from a distance and close up is a pale cream, but looks slightly more brown in HJ Holden than it does in Kingswood. There used to be photos here somewhere of the 60V rim in my HJ Premier but we can't use that methiod for pictures anymore so you'll have to search online.
Attempting to display colours accurately on a computer via the Internet is full problems as 99% of computers are not properly colour calibrated (not to mention the camera that captured the colour in the first place). Meaning what looks like one colour on on computer looks a completely different colour on another. Especially when it comes to shades of colour. All of the "60" range of colours are deemed to be in the brown (or shades of). As Byron points out pale cream is what it most looks like and this is still a shade of brown.
Tell me about it. Trying to scan trim samples in hi-res to put in the book, bloody hard. Best I can do is get for example 60V as beige and chamois and 18V+19V side by side so you can at least see there is a difference.
Screen quality is also an issue. Byron my mrs could help you out if you like. She has a quality screen and calibration thingo.
