Unless someone has removed the full heading supports on the side I'm going to guess no sandman
looks like a j-z shell
attack of the butcher!

I ask the guy for pictures of the tags and he refused to send them so I guess he knows it is not a sandman
Looks like it was sold, or perhaps will re-emerge with another price tag.
Added a pic of it to your post Adam.
Nunc est bibendum...
Adam what makes you think this used to be ours? it is the right area (newcastle) but that has white needle dash and would doubt that someone would change hz for hx/j dash. Interesting though not many jasmine if at all in hx
HZ Jasmine Yellow Windowless Sandman, now being driven everywhere and is finished!
HZ Madeira Red Windowless sandman now Sold to Bigrob
HX Mandarin Red Sandman Ute finished, and club registered
1979 HZ malachite windowless van with 308 5spd, all chromed up and shiny finished and named "The Player"
Married to RodneyHZ253
1927 is a pretty common colour, it was available for all of HZ and after the late 1978 update it was one of the only 4 x colours available on Holden utes, vans and tonners outside of Sandman. I have at least 30 recorded.
So any in hx though Byron. This van appears to have white needle dash so am thinking its not jasmine

Definitely no HX that i've seen. I think you'll find that like HJ following from HQ some of the colours transitioned across early so you see late HQ's in HJ colours, and also vice versa as some colours stayed right to the death of HQ and leftover paint was sent to Dandenong to be used on LH for these. The same happened from HX to HZ transition, but my guess is that Absinth stayed to the death of HX and Jasmine started at the transition to HZ. I think this is sort of played out in front of us on the HZ Sandman sales brochure, the ute is Palais (early changeover) and the van appears to be Absinth. Seawith I think was Opaline blue. All these cars were Jun-Jul 1977 build. There is no such phenomenon from HJ-HX as the HJ colours simply carried on into HX in the main.
