You're not wrong there.
got some new bits today.
Bought a complete m20 4 speed box
came with:
gearbox
202 bellhousing
new clutch and pressure plate
flywheel
shifter and linkages
etc.
i think i got a good deal for $150.
the bloke that i bought it off told me it was the original box out of his HX Tonner which he has now converted to run a VP 3.8L commodore motor with 5speed.
should upload some photos in the next day or so

You are doing a good job and will have a cool ute when finished. 202/M20 will be fine and $150.00 is a steal for the stuff you got.
Keep doing it bit by bit and you'll get there.
And keep posting pics!

had a win today
Was at the scrapyard (where I work) with my brother Jared and we found an original HK grille that had been left behind from when the place had been a panel beaters workshop 40 odd years ago. Instead of throwing it to the crusher, we took it home and gave it a good polish and a coat of paint.
I must say it was a great experience to teach Jared the basics of paint prep and how to use metal polish.
Jared was certainly happy to have a new decoration for the garage.
Photo of the finished product
(didn't take before pics, but it was covered in grime and mud as the container it was in had been through the floods earlier this year)
Photo of Jared looking proud

Looks good. I think it's a HD grill though.
