Maybe. Need to look in a parts book and see if roof mount aerial has a part number I suppose.

Roof antenna is not factory, maybe dealer or 1st owner.
There is no mention of part number for a roof mounted antenna in the HX parts manual.
I can only go on what was on the vehicle when purchased new, factory radio with roof antenna. no hole or pug in the guard. and all the new hx sandmans vans that I knew at the time came that way.
Never seen any early holden with a roof antenna including sandmans i got one on my hz but i installed it many years ago
Maybe some old telecom cars chris who knows
nah one was ex govvy but it has an extra big stinka yokal style antenna where a moon roof would normally go. the other was fact v8 so unlikely a telco car! They look very similar too and not like elcheapo after market

I don't kow how to add a picture since things have changed but there is a picture of my brand new HX van in October 1977 at my previous threads dated 21/9/12 with factory roof antenna. like with many of these models records are not accuate and leads to the three Fs, some fact , some fiction, which lead to friction
My HX van has the aerial on the guard. Doubt it's been moved from the roof.
