Bit of a long shot but I'm chasing info on a car I built in the 90s, Jasmine yellow HZ ute, 253, 4 speed GTS guards, steering wheel and dash, 1 GTS mirror on drivers side, dragway 5 spokes and a Statesman front with standard HZ grille, last registered in the ACT, chassis number was BHZ41946A, engine QR740630. Not sure of rego number Any help appreciated. Mainly after the chassis. Cheers.

Agreed, but you never know, it can be a small world. I will scan a few old photos next week and post them, may jog someones memory.
At least by putting it on a forum its searchable through google. so never know one day! Add you phone number maybe? put it up like 0427 one two three four etc etc etc.
I am often surprised by the people I meet that have links back to where I live or someone I know, hopefully this might work out the same. With regard to phone numbers, does the site block them automatically?

Was it sold to a nsw buyer? I remember seeing one exactly like it in my home town in 1996. The last time I saw it, it was being hammered mercilessly at Gunnedah b&s.
It was sold to a bloke from NSW who moved to Canberra, last rego was ACT and a fair while ago according to the limited info I could get from the rego people there. Could have been it.
