    VU UTE with HBD Sandman Panelvan canopy .
    One of the First original Canopy's fitted in 2002 .

    used as concept car prior to Holdens release of HBD Canopy.

    Originally owned by the company which made the first canopy .
    Well looked after car ,always garaged .Low 113000km .
    No Engine or exhaust mods, Only change are 19" Rims .
    Perfect interior
    Tiger Mica
    Currently unregistered(due to being in storage)
    New roadworthy and service

    Yup, that's about right. All VU's were built as either prototypes or factory cars (factory as in FTP who made the canopies for HBD).
    This is the car used in the Holden promo shots with the speed boat. Basically it was the MAMBO and than these real early VU releases.

    I doubt it has a HBD tag. Official releases didn't happen until VY SII in very late 2003.

    Last time it was advertised they were chasing $25,000+ (not sure why the radiator cover is missing?)
    My opinion is, if you like it's history and colour etc. This would be good buying between $20,000 and $25,000 providing the condition is as good as projected etc.

    Quite a rare offering and should appreciate if treated well.
