R00ted alright! It is a HX shell, and an original TH400 example too (as all LE's were). Whomever rebodied the LE was a fool, they should have used the firewall too as that Pagewood tracking number is unique to the ID plates. If you go looking you'll see evidence of the removal of the HJ firewall to put the HX one in too.
You have to wonder how it got like that? LE Monaros wernt cheap and were usually looked after but having said that the one i had came from the wreckers and all that was wrong with it was a slightly damaged rear quarter.I hope you have the patience to bring it back to life
yeah there is a lot of body sealer painted around the firewall I'm assuming to cover up the handy work.. she's a big challenge but I'm keen!

Ouch that roof on the rear.....gotta feel sorry for the old girl
Great to see you'll bring her back Best of luck
That fire wall looks like it belongs to that shell,i think HK was saying they should have taken the fire wall and put it on the shell they used and if a purist looked at the rebodied car they would be able to tell it had been rebodied...hope that makes sense
I wonder where the recipient of all its goodies is... but none the less it will live again.

Did it come from SA? i had a look at one at Stockport a few years ago that was pretty rusty and had rats living in it
