G'day have just bought a GTS dash and it has a decent size whole where someone has cut a piece of the dash out to put a new radio in. Im wondering what is the best thing to do?

If you are good at plastic welding you can cut up a standard dash and weld the original back in. Then refinish the dash and paint it.
But the best thing to do is just put a new din radio in and not worry about it. I can't see the point in going to all the trouble to fit a AM radio really.
We had a friend (absinth) poly weld ours up, using a piece of fascia from a standard dash and cutting to size. If you look in my sandman tv you will see a video of absinth doing them.
Wbute beat me to it lol. Agree James but when you are doing original it looks good to have the old radio and hide the kenwood in the glove box lol

There were a couple of different types. The early ones were pinned on. The later ones are cast into the plastic.
