It's very cool this stuff was uncovered but just as sad it will be broken up. How cool would it have been to clean everything up and open it as a museum just the way it would have been in it's day.
The vultures will strike on auction day on what date was it again?
The video was some of the worse I've every seen. Looks like it was shot on a very early web cam! Oh, and the voice, that nasal whine... (Shut up already!) 1 Mile, 4 Miles...
It was great to see Ivan, nice post.
Agree with Innuendo. It should be kept together. I'm suprised Chevrolet themselves haven't made an offer.
And yep, that voice.... I was just discussing with my brother in law today that they should get James Earl Jones or Morgan Freeman to narrate their movies.
Finally realized what her voice reminded me of...
rolls nice? how the f$5k does a car roll nice?!
super sweet vid... the're still out there lads

Wow. Amazing collection. The Corvette is a 78, so I wonder if that was when they closed up shop or if it was a added later, gonna do some googglin!
Right, the story behind this was easy enough to find of course. I had never heard of Lambrecht Chevrolet till now, what a cool history.

So he built the dealership himself, ground up.... starting with with concrete blocks! And they were still using a forties cash register in the eighties.... Im surprised it had enough digits!
Very cool post!
Awesome to see, the voice was hard to take but I can't stand seeing people stack metal objects on pristine bonnets like that.
