Yeah, the EK is a keeper.. She's 1 of 4 utes to come from the factory in Cameo Beige, he's just finished a resto on it, but he had it up for sale a while ago - I don't know if it still is - but $20,000 was the price from memory :/
He'd probably have some parts out there, I'd have to ask him... haha

Hahah Don't want to be rude/sound rude, but do you even know what the colour actually is? :/ Its not normal beige, that's for sure!

Cameo Beige is a light pink/pastel pink..

Bit of a small update, I missed the Majestic Vanners Van-In due to car troubles :( I got to the other side of Tamworth when the ute started knocking/ticking :/ I originally thought it had spun a bearing, turns out it had broken 2 teeth clean off in the gearbox and that was the noise, so the old 3spd is back in for now..
If anything, missing it has motivated me more to have the van done for next years Van-In :D

So over the long weekend I kept vanning alive at the other end of the spectrum haha

I had a look at the GTS guards on the parts car, and they turned out to be genuine NOS guards, so I bare metaled them and gave them a light coat of paint to stop surface rust. Because of their condition and they're cool as I've finally decided that I'll use them on the van :D

The drivers one needs some minor pane beating at the front, but shouldn't be too hard to fix..



The firewall got bare metaled (all the way around to the door openings..)





It has a few holes here and there that have been hacked into it, but they'll be fixed up



^^ That one is the worst one, I dunno what the hell they did that with!

Found a tiny little bit of rust at the base of the firewall on the P/S..



I then turned my attention to the cowel/plenum.. I couldn't be happier with what I found! :D





I'll still unpick the whole cowel/plenum just to be on the safe side..

I'm still chasing the original chassis, but have been talking to the right people because I found the original owner of the van from the mid '90s
