Sandman door trims

[HK1837]

Has anyone bothered to figure out which of HJ-HZ (not necessarily Sandman) had the door trims with the chrome beading and which had the coloured beading? It might be a Kingswood vs Holden thing. SOmething I have yet to nail 100%.

The ones in the attached auction have the coloured beading:

mine is the same as those in the link you attached - coloured rectangular bead; chrome centre / straight bead

I had a look in my original Holden brochures but the only type shown is the chrome centre strip. I have both the commercial and Kingswood SL brochures. I have a feeling that the Kingswood got the plain strip and the Kingswood SL got the chrome, I may be wrong though.

I bought the interior for my Sandman from the uphosterer in your link and the quality is great!

My 3/75 64V interior HJ only has the chrome strip in the centre. The beading is the same colour as the rest of the trim.

The only pictures I have all show 1 Chrome strip. But the Monaro and premier have different chrome strips.
Pics I have are from old brochures. In books I have.

Yep my hz sandman ute 63V where the same as pictured (just different colour)

I wonder where the trims i've seen with chrome surrounding strips were from? Maybe they were poor replicas?

I will dig out my old photos and make sure Byron. But very sure it didn't have chrome surrounds.
